The Sainik Welfare Organization-India, is a social service organization working with the sole objective of facilitating provision of residential units (residential plots, apartments, independent floors, farm plots etc) to the two segments of central government uniformed personnel, the Serving and the Retired who shares the right to a decent standard of living together within the same community after retirement from active service.
Living within proximity of available medical facilities and re-employment opportunities are essential for fulfillment of human life of a soldier beyond simple survival after retirement.
A team of well meaning retired officers and men have volunteered to traverse on a strenuous course of welfare oriented activities for true heroes of our country and have pledged to transform itself into a saga of dedicated service to the cause of humanity and particularly the “Sainiks’ Community”.
Sainik: means community of Indian Soldiers serving or retired, including officers, junior commissioned officer and other ranks of Defence Forces (Army, Navy, Air force) and paramilitary forces such as BSF, ITBP, CRPF, CISF, Assam Rifles, SSB and other Central Govt. Forces such as coast guard, DSC, National Security Organization, Border Roads Organizations, Military engineering Services, Ordinance Depots/Factories etc .

Location Demand Survey: means a procedure to be followed by the Organization to undertake any survey to generate adequate demand from interested/prospective beneficiaries for a location for the purpose of facilitating a residential housing project. Location demand survey is an analysis undertaken to assess and study the feasibility of the prospective project anywhere in India considering the interest and perception of the prospective applicants and / or beneficiaries. The survey period may last for up to 2-3 years to generate adequate demand amongst the beneficiaries and subsequently arrange for suitable approved residential project.
Location Demand Survey Fee: LDSF is the amount to be paid by the applicant/ beneficiary to the Organization as commitment amount between the Organization and the applicant for his/her registration/participation in the Location Demand Survey Scheme of the Organization. LDSF is fully refundable at any stage of the survey. It is adjustable with affordable cost of residential unit, on completion of survey formalities. The same amount is also refundable with no interest there upon if the said survey results in abandonment of the project due to its low demand, non-affordability, non- viability or non-feasibility.
